Mike Duffy Joins Assurant Solutions as ESC Business Development Director

ATLANTA: Assurant Solutions, a leading global provider of extended service contracts, announced that Mike Duffy, a veteran financial services sales executive, has joined its Extended Protection Solutions business as a business development director.

Duffy, of Cumming, Ga., comes to Assurant Solutions from HSBC Insurance, a leading provider of insurance products to the broad market and third parties, where he had served as vice president, business development. At Assurant Solutions Duffy will be responsible for service contract business development in the retail and monthly service provider industries.

Duffy has more than 21 years of sales and sales management experience in financial services. He began his career in the Household Finance Corporation’s consumer lending division. This lead to management opportunities in HFC’s insurance group, private label credit card division and HSBC Mortgage Services. His most recent successes in business development have been in establishing distribution relationships with multiple global insurance companies.

Duffy has a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from Florida State University.
