Assurant Solutions Strengthens UK and Irish Sales Team
UK and Ireland, Embargoed to 1 November 2011 – Assurant Solutions, a global provider of specialised insurance and insurance-related products, has strengthened its sales team in the UK and Ireland with three new appointments. Steve Case has been appointed business development manager, Sophie Perry client services manager and Rebecca O’Malley marketing executive.

In his new role as business development manager, Steve Case is focusing on the UK’s extended warranty business. He brings to this position over 25 years of sales experience in the financial services sector including serving as sales director for the then market leader in retail point of sale finance, First National Tricity Finance. More recently, he was head of business development for niche credit card provider SAV Credit, and a consultant in the debt management market.

As client services manager, Sophie Perry assists servicing and growing existing business relationships. She brings a blend of financial services and retail experience to the role after holding marketing, business development and customer facing positions at Comet Group plc, Dixons Retail (Curry’s) and Santander (Abbey Commercial Mortgages).
In the newly created role of marketing executive within the sales team, Rebecca O’Malley is responsible for designing and delivering marketing activities to support the development of existing business relationships. This includes working closely with both the client relationship team and its clients to drive forward marketing initiatives to increase sales. With a degree in advertising and marketing communications, she brings 10 years of hands-on experience in working with leading brands such as GM Motors (Vauxhall), Dixons Retail (Curry’s) and ASUS, and experience in broadcast media.
